WHAT: The Opportunity Boulevard Job Fair is meant to reduce cannibalization of one another’s talent within Nevada, attract the right out-of-state people to fill open Nevada jobs and help trailing spouses and family members find jobs.
The last career fair (Jan. 18) attracted more than 2,200 jobseekers – nearly 450 in which came to Las Vegas from out-of-state.
WHO: The fairs specifically target out-of-state professionals and older workers to Nevada employment opportunities.
The job fairs are marketed by Las Vegas-based Recruiting Nevada and sponsored by Recruiting Nevada, The News, Greenspun Media Group, In Business Las Vegas, Nevada Broadcasters Association and AARP Nevada.
