LAS VEGAS – Recruiting Nevada, which publishes the state’s largest Nevada-specific network of employment Web sites, has been selected for inclusion in the eighth annual “WEDDLE’s 2007-2008 Guide to Employment Sites on the Internet.”
Since 1996, WEDDLE’s has conducted surveys of recruiters and jobseekers on the Internet and of Web sites providing employment-related services to jobseekers, career activists, recruiters and HR professionals. Its research has been cited in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Money, Fortune and Inc. magazines. WEDDLE’s also publishes guides and directories that focus on the employment-related area of the Internet.
More than 3,000 sites competed for one of only 350 profile positions that were available in this year’s publication.
Sites selected by WEDDLE’s are deemed the best employment sites on the Web, according to WEDDLE’s, and are highly regarded by job seekers, employers and recruiters. Companies were chosen by several different criteria including the number of employers/jobseekers using the site, user experience, length of time in business and overall quality of the design and functionality.
“This award substantiates the strides we’ve taken to offer the most comprehensive and user-friendly Web sites possible,” said Doug Geinzer, founder and president of Recruiting Nevada. “We are honored to be included in this year’s guide.”
WEDDLE’s is widely distributed and can be found at academic and public libraries, college placement centers, state and federal counseling centers, retail bookstore chains and major resellers, including Amazon.com, the Society for Human Resource Management and Kennedy Information.
